If your name and address and description of acreage are properly filed with the county courthouse recorder of deeds, then leasing agents will find you if they are interested.
Not a lot of leasing in that township in the last three years. Some leases in section 1 catty corner to the NE in 2022.
Continental offered 600/ac and 3/16.
If you have not leased in a while, it would be very wise to get an oil and gas attorney to look over any draft lease. They are rarely in the mineral owner’s favor and need some significant edits. An investment in good advice up front can add up over time if the well is successful. And if the agent offers 3/16ths, I always ask what they are offering at 1/5th and 1/4 which will make you a whole lot more in royalties in the long run.
