Does anyone know if the above section is of importance. The Agent is extremely assertive for signatures to start leasing / drilling. Then there is an "application for emergency" hearing on the 15th of May, 2015 and then a "notice of hearing" for that section and appears to be "forced pooling" with many parties involved. The applicant is APACHE CORP. Has anyone dealt with them? Thanks
I have received 3 certified documents from Richard Grimes attorney for Apache regarding what you have said. Are you apart of this pool Chris?
Yes, If you look at the parties on DOCS, you will see Christopher paul Murphy and an additional 20 relatives. Living in CA and NV we are not savy to whats going on and that's our fault, the urgency by the agent to sign is a red flag. Thanks Michelle for responding.
Are you leasing any of your mineral rights. I'm leasing some of my section but right after I leased someone has been trying to buy. I have an attorney I have used in Edmond Okla. that I will be calling tomorrow about all of this.
What agent is trying to get you to sign?
This has been very overwhelming but I also don't want to sit back and do nothing. That's why I will be calling my attorney.
Michelle, we are leasing and it is normal to get other buyers to proposition to sale your mineral rights. We have another larger section in Grady Co. in contract. Let me know what you find out, I would appreciate it. You can text, email me. 775-772-9794
There are 70 names on the pooling application. My brother is one of them. He leased his minerals next to section 12 for $1,000 bonus plus a 1/4 royalty interest. He is wanting the same thing for section 12, but so far offers have been for a whole lot less. Once the pooling order is final you have about 15 days or so to lease to someone else or pick one of the pooling options.
FYI - They have staked the location and are getting ready to build the pad, which is located in section 13-6N-7W.
Monty SHL - Picture is looking towards the southwest. They were ripping up the topsoil and pushing it to the west side of the location when the rain stopped them. More rain in the forecast. I have had over 8 inches of rain at my place so far. The ground is very soft.
The bulldozer is blocking the flagstick that marks the hole.
Thanks Don for the update. Your input is appreciated.

Motions were heard and recommended Friday (5/15/2015) at the OCC. Initial Hearings 5/26/2015.
Looks like only the rain will slow them up.
Applications were recommended 5/26/2015. If you are not leased you should see a Pooling order in the next couple of weeks.
