Section 16 Township 16 north range 4 w, updates please

Recently received an order from the commission, not sure if my family is aging or losing wells? Common source of supply, Mississippian,Woodford, Hunton. Stoner, Davis any help would be appreciated

What do you need help with ?

Nakvinda Davis Well #1, sec 16 t 16 n w2 se4, is it being included into Mississippian lime? And it talks about horizontal drilling. I have owner interest in this description, so I am wondering if this is a good thing or bad? Stephens Production Company. This is not a current royalty I am receiving, I have also recently received a gas order section 18 t 16n range 3w, and want to know if all of this is the same, or really layman terms on what is going on…

If it helps this is Logan county oklahoma

Ron,

This is the question Teresa presented to me thru an email and I don't have resources to answer her.:

Clint,

I posted a discussion question. Hoping a direct message may provide information I'm looking for. I received from commission cause cd no 201305380 order no. 616223, applicant Stephens Production. It talks about horizontal well units, Mississippian,Woodford,Hunton common source supply, but specifies a shared mineral right my family has sec 16, township 16 north range 4 w, any update on what is going on would be great.

Thanks Ron, Hope you can assist her.

The # 201305380 is a spacing order .There is also a pooling order pending.

If you are leased or your interest is held by production from an older well you will not be listed on the pooling but will have an interest in any well drilled under the 640 acre spacing. If you are listed on the pooling then you may have an interest that is not HBP or leased.

The pooling hearing was continued to 10/16/13. This whole section is HBP by different wells. There are wells located in each quarter.

State #16-1 (NE/4)

Rector #1 (NW/4)

Nakvinda Davis #1-16 (SE/4)

Stoner #1A (SW/4)

Stephens is a good operator. They have drilled some nice Logan County wells recently.

Thank you all for helping, what is HBP? Will that mean it is taking away from my well. Or now I’m included in the others?

HBP means held by production. I assume from your response that you are being paid from at least one of the wells listed above.

Nothing being done will "take away" from your well. What is being done currently is that the Section has been spaced for 640 Acre Horizontal Spacing. Stephens will drill a Horizontal Mississippi formation well and anyone that owns in the 640 acre unit will be paid on the production. Over time Stephens will probably drill 3-4 wells, but that may take quite a while.

Great, thank you. I am very new to all of this, recently inherited, and there is no rhyme or reason to my sporadic rights, they do not seem to connect my township maps. I also received some communication recently regarding Duffy Wells? Also in Logan Co

Teresa, Best wishes. There is a ton of info for newbies in this Logan County Forum beginning about January of this year when Logan County began getting hot. Of course, a lot of gibberish is mixed in with the good stuff. If you can back track and filter through it, I think it will be worth your time. Easy for me to say since I am retired and have very little to do otherwise. Watch specifically for links to web sites where you can do your own reading and research.

Great info Harley, very much appreciated!

Teresa, also go to the Garvin Mineral page and see the Links for Mineral Owners. Gives lots of places that you can look up things for free on the web and on the Oklahoma Corporation Commission-on the days it works....
