Section 29 T19N 1W

I am new to the group but have been following all of your conversations for several months now and am impressed with the wealth of knowledge this forum makes available to folks like me who own minerals in Okla but live elsewhere. I will be more succinct with future post but wanted to say up front thanks in advance for advice/info and appologies for any questions I may ask that are redundant with previous discussions.

That said, My wife recently inherited surface and minerals in 29 19N 1W. I know that recently there have been wells drilled in sections 32 and 19, the latter I believe drilled under a portion of our mineral interests but I have not been able to locate any information on either of these wells other than the approved permits to drill them. Since we have not received any division papers, I suspect it did not turn out favorable. I would appreciate anything you might have to offer.

Also, the roads around that section in March were like N Dallas tollway at rush hour and now you could safely pitch a tent in any given intersection. Has that area proved to be less productive than projected. Haven't received an offer to buy our minerals in a couple months either...not quitting my day job.

There was a well drilled under 29 from 19 . It was started on 10/10/12. No completion report yet that I could find. There are what look like good wells under 19 & 20 . I would do a lot of research before I sold .

Thanks Ron. Not really looking to sell, just trying to decipher how the process works, on what timing, and is there something that I should be doing/learning. My research so far at the courthouse and the OCC website has been fairly unproductive. The company that leased the minerals from my father-in-law in 2010 just pass me on to someone's voicemail who never returns a call. If I just need to be patient and wait for whatever comes, then I will.....I'm just not good at that.

What was your father in law's name ?

John Wehr

Devon Energy is the one who drilled the well and will be who you get your checks from.

Thanks Ron. Since I can not find a completion report or production figures on that well, I'm assuming you are speaking optimistically (about a check)...? I would be interested to know your source. Is there a database or website that I'm not privvy to? I understand that their are some that industry folks subscribe to that I'm probably not willing to pay the subscription fee for. Not trying to get you to divulge trade secrets but if there is some source of info that I'm not aware of I'd appreciate the heads up. Regardless, you have been extremely helpful. Much appreciated.

Ron, do pooling orders like the one just posted for 29 19n 1w not include the names of those who had already leased minerals? My father in law signed a 3 yr lease in 2010 (still in force). The first page of the order references an Exhibit A. On that exhibit it state that those electing to participate elected 3a. His name is not there. Are those listed only one's that had not already signed a lease?

If you are leased you should not be listed and do not make an election under the Pooling .

Perfect. Thank you. That's what I thought but the way the revised pooling order was written made me wonder.
