We have not received mineral payments from wells in section 7 recently. Anyone have any information to share on what might be going on in that area to cause this?
There are 100’s of sections 7’s in McClain, youll have to provide the full legal to get help

It appears that the wells have been shut-in or close to it. It could be due to very low gas prices or because there are offset wells being fracked.

It was mentioned to me that they are still “active” wells that are temporarily sealed due to fracturing nearby. They seal wells to keep them safe & sometimes to pressure them back up. Once fracturing is complete, then they should open wells back up.
Update on wells Section 7 that stopped producing…acquaintance of mine mentioned they were cemented in due to fracturing nearby. They are now open & production started. May take some time to receive royalties $.
