Newbie here, trying to learn by what I am reading on this forum.
We have leased to Continental recently and really have no idea of what to expect from here. I have not been able to find much information cruising the internet. I don’t live close to Garvin County so I don’t have the opportunity to go check it out myself.
Does anyone have any info on what is going on in that area?
Continental is putting together a horizontal drilling plan for this area. It could take years to finish, so don’t be in a hurry. They have already spud one well. If your name and address are properly filed in the county courthouse, then you will get OCC case mailings when the activity is moving to your sections. Usually, they have to get spacing orders, then horizontal orders, then location exception orders, then pool any last minute folks, all before a permit is issued. You are on the edge of the area, so I would expect they would drill the central part first.
