I am trying to find out the “going rate” per acre Surface/mineral owners are being paid to allow Seismic surveying of their property. My Mother has had an offer of $5/acre to survey 308 acres in Grant county between Pond Creek and Lamont. I live in the West Texas and owners here are being paid $20-25/ acre. I would like to negotiate the best deal I can for her but I need local data to do so. Any help would be appreciated.
