From January 2023 until May 2024, Sendero Resources recorded 36 lease memos in Robertson County covering about 2,600 acres. However, on May 13, they recorded another 222 lease memos adding about 9,800 acres, bringing the total acreage to 12,400 (230 in Leon the rest in Robertson).
Sendero assigned their earlier leases to Legends Exploration, and reference was made to a Deep Bossier Project Sharing agreement between the two parties, dated March 1, 2023.
Legends officers are the group that discovered the Deep Bossier Sandstones vertical play in this area. The Amoruso Field was named after John Amoruso, one of the founders of Legends.
It remains to be seen if this group intends to drill or if they will eventually sell to Aethon or Comstock.
