Is anyone familiar with a “Sharing Well” ? Is this a new well? Or two wells combined?
I’m particularly asking about White-Binie (API No. 227-41693)
Sincerely,
Michelle

RRC records show Highpeak Energy permitted the White Binie L1H as an allocation well, which might sometimes be referred to as a “sharing well”.
Below is the plat filed with the permit that shows the path of the well running along the Section line, which is also the dividing line between Highpeak’s White and Binie Units.
If you aren’t familiar with allocation wells you can search for previous discussions about them by using the Looking Glass feature at the top of this page next to the New Topic box.
Hello Dusty!
Thank you. Our July royalty check for Binie was quite low, does this new well have something to do with the reduction of oil in Binie?
-Michelle
The well with API No. 227-41693 that you asked about was just permitted in April so it may not be producing, or even have been drilled yet.
Also don’t know which well you are referring to as the Binie that you have been receiving royalties from.
Based on the plat filed for that allocation well the distance between wells looks close but it would have to comply with the minimum spacing set by the field rules for that area.
No, they shut-in the producing wells on the unit for a couple weeks so they could complete the remaining wells in the unit.
