Shepard Well

Any information on the Shepard well in Washington County,Texas?

Welcome to the forum! Since Shepard is a pretty common name, you would need to add your abstract or section, township and range to give a better location. Have you checks the Railroad Commission site?

Don’t find any permit for a well called the Shepard in Washington County.

There was one in Fayette County back in 2007. Do you know who the operator is for the well you are asking about?

Should be spelled “Sheppard”. Permitted by WRD.

It’s actually spelled Shepherd.

Only thing Wildhorse/Chesapeake has reported to RRC is that it was spudded 12/19/18 but the State Comptroller’s site CONG shows first production in April of 267,910 mcf of gas and 571 barrels of oil. That probably doesn’t reflect a true 30 days production, could include carryover from March, or could be just part of April.

Wildhorse was always slow on reporting first production and Chesapeake will probably follow the same pattern but they will probably file a production report in Pending status in the next couple of weeks.

If you are still looking for information on the Wildhorse/Chesapeake Shepherd well on 390 here are the completion reports they filed with RRC.

Any completion reports re Boekker well? Thx in advance.

If you are talking about the Boeker #1, Geosouthern filed that completion last March. I’m attaching it below.

What’s interesting is the completion test made it look like a pretty weak well (3,200 mcf and 72 barrels of oil) but the production report that’s also attached says by May it was averaging 7,036 mcf/day with 373 bpd of oil.

They permitted a #2 well but don’t think it has been drilled yet.

I really meant to ask about completion report for Hielscher. Thx.

Nothing filed on it. Don’t think it has been fracked yet.
