Does anyone know why a well is listed as shut in? There are 4 more wells that are coming on line in August and this the 1st well in that series. Could this be the reason that the first well has been shut in for the last 3 months??

Lou, It;s very common to shut in wells when other wells nearby are being fracked. In theory they could probably shut in all the wells for a year until they had infrastructure in place. Let me stress that this is extremely unlikely and in my opinion not going to happen, the price of oil is too good right now to turn down.
I know a very nice lady who is getting 14 wells drilled in 1/2 of her 1280 spacing and with that many wells drilled from one pad, I can see where they would have so much going on that the thought of actually producing a couple of wells at the same time might seem bothersome. She is going to do very well when they actually start producing, as I hope you will too,
