Anyone know counties that are in Cass County that are a part of the Smackover Region? Got a Lease recently for Pooling. I heard there was lithium in the area.
I believe Exxon and Standard Lithium are offering leases in Morris, Titus, and Cass Counties in that area.
Who was your lease offer from and what was the proposal?
In NE Texas, Cass County along with Morris, Titus, Franklin & Hopkins Counties are in the “Smackover” trend. And there is variable lithium concentrations noted in the Smackover through this area.
Note that both Smackover reservoir (which is mandatory for any lithium water production) as well as lithium concentrations are HIGHLY variable

Highly variable - so I really don’t know if my tract is valuable. Neither Exxon or Standard Lithium has approached or sent a lease to us.
