Ive been called by Southwest Energy Partners re: selling or leasing my mineral rights in OK to them, and this is the first I’ve heard about my owning any mineral rights. I did have ancestors living in Mayes county.
The problem is that I’ve called back several times, and they don’t return my calls. Anyone have any suggestions?
Did they provide a section, township, and range that your minerals are located in?
I suspect the call was a mistake, or they believed you owned an interest in another county other than Mayes county. They are active in Major county. They may have been alphabetically challenged.
Obviously, things can change, but the last oil and gas lease taken in Mayes county was in 1996.
