In July 2017 we signed an additional pooling agreement in Spahn Farms. We were told additional wells would be installed. Does anyone have any information if new wells have been installed. We have not received any additional information or increases in our royalties.
Thank you,
Phil
Hey Phil, I just looked at the Texas RRC and the last permits I see filed are from February 2015, that being the 10H as the last permitted. I also see on production reports that the Spahn Farms Unit has done 1.1 million barrels of oil going through December 2017 posted production numbers. Does the additional pooling agreement use the name of Spahn Farms Unit, or is it going to be named something different ? 10 existing wells on the initial 709.3 acre unit is a spacing of 70.93, it would seem that EOG could work a 35 acre spacing possibly, is the shale thick enough in your area to support layering horizontals ? Here is the RRC online query link I used to get the permit info.

here is the main search page for the RRC

Phil,
EOG submitted drilling permits for 4 allocation wells in March 2019 that include the Spahn Farms and Sweet units. They are named Arches A thru D. They have drilled the wells, but not sure when they will fracked. My guess late summer or early fall.
