Linda, when I leased 17 (Studdard) it was for $1500 PA. I did not force pool. We’re gonna confuse people talking Garvin on Stephens. lol
Is this more than a supposition soonerpe? Did you find it in writing somewhere? I just went ahead and sent it back in today. Thank you all for your help in figuring this out.
My memory should is failing and the pooling amount could have been $1500. an acre. That would make her getting $500. mean they thought she had a 1/3 interest wouldn’t it?
Linda,
A possibility is originally 2.5 acres were owned. Initial ownership review for pooling indicated your Mother was one of five heirs and therefore owned 0.5 acres. A more detailed review (after drilling) showed your Mother was actually one of eight heirs so her ownership is 0.3125 acres. I am not sure if the pooling would allow Newfield to recover the incorrectly paid bonus. Also, Newfield might feel that it was not worth the effort to recover $188.
Linda, back to your question about 5-2N/4W and 32-3N/4W
Condit 1-5H, Colbert 1-32H, Condit 2-5-32XH and just permitted the
Celesta 1-5-32XH
Linda,
It is just a supposition. I was just trying to give an example of how the interest might change from pooling title opinion to drilling title opinion. I still recommend that you ask Newfield why the numbers changed. They might have made a mistake. I have royalty in a well where the operator mistakenly switched the production allocation % for the two sections of an extended lateral well. If I were you I would want to know why my interest was reduced nearly in half.
If you or someone else could find out for sure if the forced pooling amount for 1 acre for 3/16 it might solve the question. If it happen to be $1500. NF would be correct. If it was $1000. then I need to contact them I guess. Can you find that out someway?
Linda, 20-2N/3W Pooling Order:

Sec 20 was $1000-3/16 Sec 29 was $1500-3/16
Congrats Mike, what happened to the McElroy 2H-19?
Hi All-
Has anyone heard any updates on the 5 new Kelly wells in 11-2N-4W?
I saw the intent to drill in the Tulsa World on 11-15-14. Just curious if any have been completed and if anyone has heard anything about production.
Thank you-
Thanks Hutch…guess they may have just paid mom too much bonus but hopefully they won’t ask for it back. I talked to the lady in NF office this morning and she said they are crediting mom with a little over 1/3 acre. Said the reason she wouldn’t be in on the Dec. checks is because her SS # didn’t match up according to the IRS. Don’t know why it wouldn’t unless it’s because of all the names she’s had. Besides her maiden name she’s had three other last names. She keeps outliving her husbands.
Hutch…the number 2 McElroy has never been started. The location is still lying there without even any gravel being put on it. Don’t know the reason for that. As you said it’s the only one that has the pad on section 17.
Just received Division Orders for the four McElroy wells!!!
Kyle, those wells were spud in Oct and Nov, a little soon for completions. Probably be Feb at best.
Merry Christmas everyone! Has there been any news on that Marathon H well in 19 1S 4W? Does anyone have an updated estimate on when it will start paying?
I got the spacing order for 15 1N6W today, dated 12/11/14.
Kelly rigs were still up the last trip hubby made to the diggings a couple of days ago.
SJK, you could be right if they don’t offer 1/4 on the pooling. Some leases have offered a bonus with 1/4, it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
No bonus i meant
Michael that’s what I was thinking. Thanks !
SJK, Recon Resources gave me 22% +$1,500 an acre next door in sec. 22-2S-4W.
