Any news on Oceana. Section 17 and 8 1N 5W?

CR finished drilling Gentry 1-11H-02X. Rig moving out and expect frack next. 3S4W.

Hi John, Any more news on the Connell in 13 3S 4W? Thank you!

Thanks, John. Is this the well drilled pursuant to emergency pooling order of commission issued 11/18/14??

Roger, I am unaware of any emergency pooling order for Gentry well. Our interest is under lease, with extension option exercised.

So… If the Keystone pipeline gets approved,(could get veto’d) what will it do for us? Will it hurt the royalty owners?

Connell is also mentioned on Gary’s link.

Michael, we are still importing oil because many of our refineries are configured for heavy crude which the U.S. doesn’t produce much of. The reasoning is why not import from a country who is not going to blow our s*** away. The Canadian tar sands crude fits the bill and it can be diluted with condensate from say… the SCOOP. It is also expected to create jobs, many not permanent but it should still help our economy. These are things I have read not by any means the gospel.

Thanks for info on Connell well. Val C Carter

M. Warden, that’s a good question. I’m not sure what it will do for the U.S. or for SCOOP royalty owners but it is a good question. However as to imports according to the EIA, In 2013, the United States consumed an average of 18.89 million barrels per day.1 This total includes about 0.32 billion barrels of biofuels.

The United States imported approximately 9.9 million barrels per day (MMbbl/d) of petroleum in 2013 from about 80 countries. Petroleum includes crude oil and refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel, and biofuels including ethanol and biodiesel. In 2013, about 78% of gross petroleum imports were crude oil, and about 51% of the crude oil that was processed in U.S. refineries was imported.

The United States exported 3.6 MMbbl/d of crude oil and petroleum products in 2013, resulting in net imports (imports minus exports) of 6.2 MMbbl/d in 2013. Net imports accounted for 33% of the petroleum consumed in the United States, the lowest annual average since 1985.

Much if not most gulf coast refining capacity is designed for heavy crude because we imported a lot of heavy from Venezuela. The large Motiva refinery over in Port Arthur is 50% owned by the Sauds and refines heavy. Maybe KXL would push out Venezuela, unless they are owned by Citgo.

I am not sure where the large diameter pipe would be milled. I know about ten years ago there were no US producers of such large diameter pipe. So we would benefit from the jobs during construction and I’m not sure what else.

Can anyone help please? How do I find the dimensions of Lot #1 in Block #138 in Marlow Oklahoma. Thank you for your help.

M Barnes, the section is 17 2N 7W - Trying to figure out what percentage of an acre the mineral rights are for. Deed says lot # of block number 138. Thanks for helping.
