Karen, That is pretty good since it is double what I just got offered. Good thing I declined! Wonder if your agent was the same as mine. I suspect they are either working for Continental or Marathon given the area. Either of them are fine and both will most likely be drilling.
Location exception for Marathon section 16 2n 5w.
Mike McR…is Lumpy padded in the same section as the Boles wells? (Is that Sec. 23?)
I’m feeling like something fishy is going on with our checks! Today we got both a check from CR and one from Newfield. The wells are in the same oilfield only about 1 mile apart, both to the Woodford and the time span was for a month. We got $72. a bbl. for the oil on the Newfield check and only $52. a bbl. on the check from CR. Can someone tell me what’s going on there. Wondering if $20. a bbl. for our oil is going to help Mr. Hamm pay off his X wife???
Mike McR, I had to look that well up. Yes I am that old. Clarence “Lumpy” Rutherford!
Actually CR says sale date is 12/20/14 and Newfield says sale date 11/14/14 (both on the oil). What’s up with that?
Very good Hutch. I hope I did not offend Clarence Boles. Just a little “Leave it to Beaver” humor. You youngens may not remember but some of us lived for The Beav. Linda. The SHL is in Sec 23 02N 04W. Supposed to head North through 23 & 14.
For those as old as me “Lumpy” spud in Sec 23 02N 04W. Heading into the Goddard.
CR only holds a month on oil, I think that explains the difference.
Linda, if both checks were for December oil you got a heck of a deal from NF. My Dec oil(condensate) from CR was $55.84/bbl which matches up pretty close with the published crude oil price bulletin for that month. November oil was in the $70 range.
Hutch…I believe they would both be for Nov. wouldn’t they…if they keep us 2 months behind on the oil.
Ahhh yes, that would explain it! Thanks!
Saw a rig up in section 23 today as we passed through going toward Elmore City. Is that it?
The attached map shows activity around the H2O recycling facility in 11-2n-4w. Click on well name to link to OCC .
Was told by a long time friend last night that they (?) are building something like a $800 million dollar gas processing plant down just north of Pernell, Okla. Said this guy he knew sold them the land and they had already started on it.
Linda, that’s the gas plant that I told you a few months ago they are building on my uncle’s land. The company is Enogex. It will supply gas to surrounding municipalities. It’s in Garvin 1N 2W or 1N 3W. 1N 2W I think. It’s on my grandparent’s old home place and someone else’s adjoining property, roughly 117 acres I believe
S D Mier, I remember reading in the Oklahoman about the Knox plant. Yes, everything is good news, just one small problem we need to fine tune. A floor to prices. Hopefully in due time.
Anyone have acreage they want to lease in 7-1N-5W?
Linda & Vicki, I believe that Oneok is building a similarly priced facility for Scoop wells called the Knox plant. All good news for the area!!!
