CR has built nice new pad in center of Sect 10, 2N4W, approximately 200’ from south line. I think this will be Lowrance 2-10H. CR intends to drill 7 new Woodford wells in Sect 10 and has applied for increased density.
The Hatchett well will produce from Sec.4 - 2N/4W and from Sec. 33 - 3N/4W. Only the SHL is on Sec. 9 2N/4W.
Oh, yeah, Richard…so part of that Hatchett well will be in 33 3n/4w which would be over into Garvin Co., huh?
Good Pictures John…Congrats to all you new well owners! Wondering if all the fracing of these new wells is what has hurt all the other well’s production or whether they would have gone down anyway. Guess no use crying over spilled milk. We shall just continue to be thankful for what we get and joyous over the success of others!
I believe it will be a 50 / 50 split with sec 4 2n 4w.
Linda, Section 23 02n04W well: That’s Clarrence “Lumpy”. Heading for Springer.
Thank you Mike!
Yeah, we were disappointed the Jarred didn’t make it all the way to sect 9, but proud of the initial production rate. We will be interested in how well the Hatchet well to the north produces.
Had a Landman call last week that he had investors interested in my minerals in 10/2n/4w. I knew something was up. Thanks guys for the info I found here! Keeping me ahead of the vultures.
That is correct Linda. I figured they put in section 9 because of the issues between Newfield and the Mashburn’s.
33 3n/4w is where the Mashburn well or wells are, isn’t it?
Linda, There is ,to me, a new rig north of Hwy 29 about 1& 1/2 miles west of Hwy 76. I would say it is on sec. 16-2N/4W. You may know of it’s existence. Cactus Rig 154 is doing the Hatchett with sign at 18 mile road . Now a sign at that location states Cactus Rig 165 can be reached by traveling up 18 mile road also. Turning north up Hwy 76, it appears to be within the 1st mile north of Hwy 76. Others may be aware of it.
John you are a wealth of information. Do you think that this is what Connell would look like? I know I am mixing up counties but keep an eye out for me right south of Section 13 in Stephens and let me know if you see anything in Jefferson Section 24 Please forgive me guys but the Stephens link does a much better job!!! Our minerals on the old maps are under the name Armstrong. I see where the Gentry is. Lots of history. Again many thanks.Val Connell Carter

Richard, did you get my reply?
Val, things look positive for area in SE corner of Stephens Co and over in Carter and Jefferson. CR and XTO are main operators. I saw 3 rigs drilling in immediate area. Lots of new pipeline and a relatively new compressor station. CAPEX on infrastructure done prior to price declines.
Yes I did Hutch. Thanks.
