Linda,
Here you go. Some of these are probably not relevant, but listed the ones I could find.
Linda,

Ok thanks. I’m a newbie to all of this. I’m guessing that’s a good thing ?
Linda, its in Excel which your computer must not have. Do you have Open Office?
Anyone know how Oceana is doing? Section 8 and 17. 1N 5W
Ed - Can you give us an update on the Oceana and Goins. Thanks
SJK, We all know everyone’s situation is different, but the advice you are receiving on the forum is good advice. As I suggested to you a couple of days ago, read info that people have posted in the past. Some people are receiving more just to lease their minerals than these guys are offering you to purchase. It can be a long waiting game (waiting for a well to be drilled on your acres, but it is so worth it in the long run. These guys know you live a long way from the area where your minerals are located and probably figure you don’t know what’s going on. I can tell you - what’s going on is people’s lives are being changed due to having mineral rights in 2N4W!! As Jennifer and Hutch mentioned, what you are being offered is only a small fraction of what you can reap in the long run. It just takes time and they know a large amount at once is tempting. If you will send me a friend request I will share some amounts I have received in the last two years from a well not too terribly far from your area with you (something I don’t do publicly) so that you can better understand what a blessing just 6.5 acres can be if you hang on to it and wait for them to drill. So many sections in 2N4W are getting multiple wells which makes it even better. It just takes some patience.
She won big time. I think it was over 63k, she was good.
Still nothing happening on Section 34 2n4w.
Thanks Linda, we’re getting there.
Yes, Martha…that worked and I thank you very much!
Thank you also, Hutch. I don’t know whether I have open office (don’t believe so) or not but guess I won’t need it this time evidently.
Martha and Hutch, our family appreciates your expertise and have learned quite a bit. Last Friday I asked some questions we have on Form 1023 posted for McClelland 1h-26X. Our interest is in Section 26 02N04W. Are we correct in deducing that the well stopped short in Section 35? If it stopped because of a fault then it would be of interest to those of you in Section 34. We also have interests in Section 36 and are concerned the fault is there. Thanks for any info you can provide. Mike
Mike Mc. 26 02N04W etc.
I will preface my comments by saying that I do not know for sure. I am looking at a very OLD map that indicates there MAY be a fault cutting across 35 in a NW to SE direction and that the end of the well may have just tagged it. On my OLD map, 36 may not have the same fault. However, 34 has a similar, but different fault running almost North South, so wells there may have to be placed carefully. Again, I do NOT have access to the seismic data so cannot tell you for sure. Just a reasonable guess.
SJK is that to buy or lease? Sounds more like an offer than a contract unless you have made an agreement. Is that $39,000 for all you own in those sections?
Michael thanks for your insight …I appreciate it
SJ, I can’t tell if you are for asking advice or what but I must say don’t be hasty. This is not a once in a lifetime offer. If someone wants to buy it they are figuring on making a big profit. It is probably worth atleast 3 times what they are offering. And with a good well or two on it even more. Please don’t sell if you don’t understand the deal and are not sure if thats what you want to do. I think there are others on this forum who will tell you the same thing.
SJK, it sounds to me like they’re fishing. Follow the advice given by Hutch and Jennifer. People in this forum will help you in any way they can to make an informed decision. Two days to make up your mind? Please!
I took a picture but it is the actual contract for 6.5 acres. My sisters are selling we each have 6.5 acres. The contract wants me to notarize and send back. I’m so clueless and 39,000 for just my share seems like a lot. It is an actual contract. From strata minerals inc. they want all five of us to sell. 32.5 acres total. We only have two days to get it notarized and sent in…so confused. My dad left it to us
Jerry,
The Goins rig is down and looks like the pipeline is about finished.
Oceana still drilling, drilled two days in a row, pipe in the rack this morning and all is quiet.
It means that they have pulled the drilling pipe out of the hole and stacked it in the derrick. Probably means they are changing the drilling bit. Or they could be done. I am thinking they are probably changing the bit. When the take the derrick down, then they will be done and they will bring in the massive number of trucks to frac.
Thank you, Martha!
