Symbol for Completed Well

I have been following a well that was being drilled in the G. Farias, A-592 Survey, API 34159 that has just been completed. We were told they hit oil. In checking the RRC Piblic GIS Review on this well, it has a turquoise dot instead of a green dot. The legend on the side doesn’t show what that color depicts. Can anyone tell me what the turquoise color means?

Hi J. Michal. The turquoise color is the GIS(Geographic Information System) Symbol Description that this is a permitted location.

Thank you, Clint. Is there a completion report available yet on this well? Another question......it appears this well is a “Lone Ranger” as no other land around it is leased that I am aware of. Do you know why this would be?

Good Morning J Michal.

I find that this well was spud(begin drilling) last month so no completion report possible for several weeks or months.

There are some older plugged oil wells and oil/gas wells in the surrounding area. BE PATIENT............
