Family owns fee minerals in Midland County in T1S blk 38 section 39. They have been getting offers to purchase minerals for $17K per net mineral acre. Just wondering is that is in line…it is much higher in Ward County.
That is fair market value for this area depending on variables such as operator, contiguous land, and drilling unit considerations. Many of the purchase offers in the Delaware basin are much higher due to the size of the wells (much higher cumulative production), the rate of development, and the number of economic horizons.
