Just be aware that the term eco-terrorism can also apply to destroying countless natural places, like blasting off mountaintops or leaving permanent well pad & road scars. Same with wind turbines that purport to be green but carve up scenery.

That said, the futility of sabotaging industrial projects already underway is obvious, since most will just consume more resources to continue on, and it’s a wasteful gesture to disrupt them. But the notion that anything done to make money is “good” and anything impeding industrial development is “un-American” etc. is very subjective.
