As a point of information the Texas Railroad Commission has online maps that show all blocks and sections in Texas along with information on all wells that have been drilled.
Bill, where are the best places to navigate to on the RRC website. I've found you have to become an expert on the easiest place to find what. What queries do you use?
Here's a Link for those who are interested:
Just type in Texas Railroad Commission and look for the maps.

Thank you, Brian,
I'm still trying to get some information from the Carter County Clerk. Have not had a reply yet. I'm trying to make sure my correct information is on file with them. There is drilling all around my area ( southeast of Pooleville ) and have been told I should be receving offers soon. Any suggestions?
