Hello All,

Can anyone recommend a good company in or around Seminole County, OK that will do a title search on our mineral rights?.

If you don't have any luck, you can try calling the Seminole County Courthouse 405-257-2501. Ask them if they have a name of a good local landman or title specialist that who can do a title search for you. They should know who is doing the work for the local attorneys.

Another option is contacting the local Abstract office.

I've also heard of people calling a few longer established realtor or appraisers for a referral.

If you can go to the courthouse yourself, it might be worth the trip. I researched my rights at Ellis County and learned of family I did not know. Contacted older cousin and learned quite a lot and found other distant relatives. I was able to find them with internet search, facebook and linkedin. This way I helped not only myself and close relatives but also distant relatives get the best lease possible. You might enjoy the trip. Deb
