Just received an unsolicited offer of a “top lease” for my acreage in 26/8-6 Grady County. I think this is part of the Camino Horizontal well that has been drilled but not perforated. Am uneasy about the concept to begin with, but who knows? Anyone familiar with what is going on? Do not want to be Embroiled in litigation.
I would not do a top lease as they have the potential for litigation. I wait until the lease expires and then negotiate,
