new to the forum, lots of good info here. I own a number of deeds in Weld Co....does anybody know anything about Township 10 Range 62W Section 22?

A highly regarded leasing company has taken 5 year leases west and south of you and a well financed operator has a permit to drill within 2 miles NW of your section. At least a dozen drilling permits have been granted 4 miles NW. No producing wells showed up near your section.

If the permits result in drilling, you will be contacted for a lease if you haven't already. If you have small acreage, you may be ignored near term. Be patient and see what happens in the next 2 years and there will be no need for you to lease for 5 years or take a bad lease.
