I'm new to all of this and was wondering if any activity has been around my mineral rights area. Township 30W Range 48E Section 34 E (1/2 Section) What should I be doing to get a lease with a company or even where to start?

Looking at the GIS map, no new drilling (horizontal) observed in your area. Several older vertical wells near your mineral area targeting the Nisku formation. I would make sure that your contact info is properly recorded at the County Clerk office in Wolf Point. How many net mineral acres do you have? I would advise you to contact Gary Hutchinson, an oil and gas consultant, who also posts on this forum. His number is 303-279-4113. Mr Hutchinson knows this area very well and can advise you wisely.
