How long does an oil & gas company have to transfer inherited royalties/minerals into my name. I have provided all legal documents to transfer royalties. The company states it could take 60-90 days, if they do not need additional documents. It has been 120 days and they do not respond to my emails. I know they have all the proper paper because I have completed paperwork with six other companies and received payments from each one. How long after they receive the proper documents do they have to pay royalty checks. Please advise, Thank you
If it were me, I would send a certified letter return receipt enclosing the documents and copies of the emails (stating that it has been over 120 days) and demand royalties and interest.
