There are quite a few good lawyers in Lavaca, Fayette, and other neighboring counties. Any of them would be able to help you. As to the cost, you would have to contact them and set up an appointment to discuss anything about your royalty interest. Good hunting!

Agree, I have done the Volume /Page history and can write up the legal description information. It would be nice to see some real examples of folks with Transfer on Death Deeds for reference - of course - redacted – Anyone know where to find some examples? Thanks

I don’t believe Lavaca County as electronic records available. My home county, Taylor County, does. You could search the deed records from there and find an example.
DIY attempts to do legal work usually create a larger fee for an attorney to clean up the mess that is created.

Keep in mind that just because someone else filed a deed or other document does not mean that it was done properly.
