I received a Big check from Trinity Operating to cover past gas production for several years. The check was for production only, should it have included interest.
Frequently, the royalties come in one check and the interest in another check. You might want to go ahead and send Trinity a letter demanding the statutory interest. Send by certified mail return receipt requested. That way you and they both have documentation that you have requested the interest. Keep copies of everything.
