Hello,

We have some interests in Martin county that I am trying to get a handle on from a valuation perspective.

We receive plenty of offers to purchase, so I have a pretty good idea about what someone is willing to pay in todays market. Specifically looking for someone that could point out the potential for future horizontal wells.

Welcome to the Forum! There are several options that you have when getting valuations. Have you ever had the mineral property appraised? An appraisal can help you understand the current and potential production of your property prior to selling. I always advise clients to at minimum organize their properties prior to selling to ensure that you understand what you have prior to the transaction and then decide whether you should sell it or keep it.

I know a very good appraiser that works in Martin County is Cathy Norwood at Hickman, McClaine & Associates, Inc. I would be glad to connect you with her if you are interested.

With regard to your question about horizontals, there appear to be over 20 wells on the property that are both vertical and horizontal, as well as some SWD wells. Some are shut-in and some are active. There also appears to be a new horizontal permit on the property as well.
