Received first check on a well SE of Stillwater. Have interest in it two ways. I now have pay stubs that say well in same month produced 2500 bb month 1600 bb month and now same well same time 400 bb month. Also the legal decimal was correct but distribution decimal was 1/3 of it on one and 1/2 on other. Well tested 64 bb day in this month. Pumper says actual is about 45. Tank driver says that’s about right. But the revenue of this large company tells us that the 400 is right. Generally with this company you can call but don’t expect call back at least two weeks if you are lucky. Then it’s probably someone you can not understand, or doesn’t have time to work through problem with you! And I promise you their left hand does not even begin to know what the right hand is doing. I’m not sure how to remedy this but I would like to know the truth. Mainly, just sharing this so others will know to watch out and check figures.
Would this be Devon? & if not, does anyone know how well Devon works with us "ink dots" or small royalty owners or small participants?
You guessed correctly, sir. Can’t tell you how great full we were that it was Devon, and how now terribly disappointed we are in them!
What is location ?
18 -18N - 3E
Elinore 1-18H
Elinore 1-17H is across the road parallel to 18 in section 17.
Thanks
Thanks Ron for getting in on this; I'm in 17 - 19N - 3E, pretty much straight north of Stan & looks like we'll be doing business with Devon as well. They've declared our section a "governmental section"----maybe because the Fairgrounds (Payne County) owns part of it---don't know if that helps or hurts. Due to the "governmental section" declaration, it appears that the rig will have to be near the center of the section.
Hi Ron.
The governmental section has to do with less acres than 640. It's a standard adjustment for earth curvature. ours is less than 640, only has 617 acres M/L... with adjustments on the quarters on west side of section. At least this is what I was told. It's sure true in our section anyway. Sections of the west and top of a township are deemed this I believe... If I wrong I would love to be corrected so I know exactly what it is.. smiling as I go...
Stan & all,
In our governmental section, the info I received hasn't addressed the acreage yet but they are stating that the well site can be no closer than 330' from any side of the section. Maybe that's because of the lack of uncertainty about actual section boundaries----such as the curvature of Brush Creek Road on the west side of this section.
Randy,
Your division order will have this information that you sign. You can check acres against theirs different places including online mapping... just to be sure. Good Luck.
Stan & Ann My info is showing a well in 18 and one drilled from 18 under 17 . When I try to get production on 18 all it gives me is the well in 17 for some reason. They both tested about the same on completion reports . 17 had a little more gas 206 MCFD and 18 had 88 MCFD . 17 looks like in the 7 months ending in Nov. it did about 3900 BO & 35,130 MCF . If I can come up with something on the well under 18 I will post it . The well production is reported to the Okla. Tax Comm. under #119-207627 for that well. Do not know what it takes to get it but I have heard you have to sign something they mail you to say you have an interest. Then they mail the production info to you.
I think the adjustments are made in the west sections . However I thought all sections were governmental sections and 330' from any side was common on many of the filings.
Thanks Ron for the information.
