Website that gives you current value

I am thinking of creating a website for mineral owners to help them with leasing/selling.

I have leased/sold several times, some good companies and some bad. I wish there had been a website that had reviews, and also updated pricing on what recently had sold near me. I am thinking of creating a website or a place that you just sign up and I can forward you the information in an excel sheet for your area. I already have my own "spreadsheet" that I track what areas are going for, the players in that area, etc. But I only have it for the areas of interest to me(where I own)

My question is, would this be useful to anyone? If so, please feel free to add me as a friend and feel free to send me any information you might have that I can add to the list and share with others.

Also, if anyone wants any info, I can try to help in the mean time, as it will take me a while to create. I don't mind sending what I have though to those who need it! I also have lists of companies I have worked with for both leasing and selling a few acres here and there, and my notes about them. So if anyone is curious about a certain company, I can see if I have any information on them.

FYI, I specifically own in Oklahoma, Colorado and Texas. I have no information on any other states.

Sounds like a very good idea. Currently going through selling some rights in Oklahoma and it's been hell trying to check out companies and offers.

Do you have information on Huerfano County, Colorado? I would be interested in hearing about that. Currently under lease with a company in bankruptcy - no drilling, lease up next month. Wondering about what to do next.

Cole,

Recent purchase offer from Titan ll Energy for 8/14/15/17/20/22-2N-4W Stephens County Oklahoma $14,500/nma. with 3/16 lease.

Hello. Yes it would be very helpful as I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how lease agreements work or as to their value. I recently inherited a lease agreement on 35 acres in Harrison county, W.Va. It is an oil/gas minerals lease agreement ( not surface ). Ive been given an offer and have no idea as to how to determine if it's a fair offer. So, your service would be of tremendous help

You could go the Harrison County WV gtoup Harrison County WV group

and maybe get some more specific advice. What company?

Hello. The lease agreement royalties are paid by Enervest, which I just learned may be going into bankruptcy. How do I contact the Harrison County W. Va. group ?. Am very illiterate re computers and am having difficulty working this site. Please advise.

Thank you

Go to the pulldown menu at the top of this page labeled "GROUPS" and scroll down to County and find the county group that you want, click on it.

OR just use this link http://www.mineralrightsforum.com/group/harrison-county-wv-oil-gas

Cole, This is a GREAT idea and would be very beneficial. I have quite a bit of information on lease/sell prices in parts of Reeves County and Ward County, Texas and would be willing to help you any way I can. I also have a map on my wall (about 10') of Reeves and Ward that comes in handy for posting current prices, etc. I'm going to attach a link to the 1945 GLO MAP of Reeves County, TX.

Thank you very much.

How do you value minerals that are just being developed with monster wells on them?

Looks like a good idea. Nothing ventured; nothing gained. Bob Malone

Terrific idea. Please keep us posted. Thank you Phyllis

Great idea. I have 106.67 NMA in Stephens County Sec 25,4W,2S. I recently received a lease offer for $850 NMA. It was $1500 three years ago. I am waiting for a better offer as I will likely get force pooled in that section. The old lease expires in November. Not sure what everyone else is getting. Bearcat is saying that is what they ate offering now.

John, let me know if you want any names or emails or who I have had good experiences with!

I am sorry, I do not. My Colorado collection is specifically for Weld, Morgan, Logan, Adams, etc. basically the Denver/Greeley area

Thanks for all this!

Dan, feel free to add me and I can explain how a lot of companies figure their pricing. There are a lot of factors that I can explain in depth
