Hello,
My family has a lease expiring coming up in Nov-2014 on a section in 9N 59W, and we were contacted by the leasing company to see what we might be asking for on a new lease. I'm very aware that the leasing rates have gone way up in the last several years but would like to know what some other mineral owners have gotten recently from some new leases.
Thanks so much for your comments.
JC
I signed a 5 year lease 4 years ago in 10n 57w for $150 per net acre.
JC: very active township for Whiting and Noble. Really good wells. Don't settle for first couple of offers.
What section you in and what is your net?
This area has gone throught the roof. Message me if you are looking to speak about this area in greater detail, I'm familiar with the prices and have been involved since 2009.
I'm on 11N, 57W, and I received a phone call last evening from Whiting Oil, the current Lessor, about a "top lease". Haven't gotten the offer paperwork in the mail yet, but he was talking a good 28% more bonus than the current lease, which expires the end of March. To someone like me, it's a great deal of money, but I can't help but think that the closer to March we get, the more offers will start flowing. Whiting had 5 years to get this thing going, and accomplished nothing except a test as far as I can tell.
Top Lease is a new term for me, and there's little on the net to help, except in Mineral Rights Forum, of course!
So, I sure want to take you up on your offer to talk about this area.
If I recall, I receive an e-mail when a response turns up in the forum.
Thanks!

We are currently holding a lease that will be up for re-leasing at the end of may 2015. Its a 116 acre lease between sections 13 and 18 in weld co. Hoping for some input on current value in that area. Ive heard a lot of different things.
Thanks, Taylor Bolejack
