Well production is down

I have been getting a small check every other month. They won’t send if it’s not over $100, which is fine with me. But this month I just got one for less than $20. I received the usual check last month. I looked at the production for this $20 payment and the production was way down from normal months. Anyone know what could be going on ? This is on the Griffin well in Blaine Co. 16-16n-11w and Devon is the operator. Thanks

You have permits for horizontal wells on either side of you. You may have possibly been briefly shut in while one of the wells nearby was being fracked. Or there may have been mechanical work on your well. Wait and see what next month brings.

Will do. Just weird to get such a small check.

Thanks

If it is still really down next month contact the revenue department at Devon. Wells decline in volume naturally over time, so that is normal. If prices go down at the same time, that also has an effect.

CE was fracking two new Davis wells 1 mile west of the Griffen. They shut down the wells 2 miles from they were fracking. Next production should be better.

Ok, thanks. Hopefully we’ll get some more wells also.

Looks like production has resumed! Thanks
