Wells in dunn county

Can anyone give me any information on the wells located in Dunn County 24-146-93 operator Hunt Oil?

What do you want to know about them?

I just returned from Williston and in my fathers trust it shows 20 acreas, but was told by the bank there were no wells on this site. When I returned to VA I looked at the mineral map and it showed 2 wells one in 2010 and one in 2011. I contact the bank to inform them of my findings. Sure enough Hunt Oil had sent checks to a invalid address for my mother and now they will be sent to the bank. Can you give my any production figures for these wells?

Sure, I would be happy to. There is also the matter of interest if you had good title all along, it would be substantial if the fault lies with Hunt for sending to the wrong address.

COOK 24-13H 1 CUMULATIVE OIL 184,239 BBL. CUMULATIVE GAS 78,458 Mcf (1,000 cubic feet) not all of which was sold, your royalty is based on what was actually sold, some was just burned off.

Cook 24-13H 2 CUMULATIVE OIL 144,658 BBL. CUMULATIVE GAS 69,369 Mcf as above not all was sold and some was flared/burned off.

If you only had 10 acres you probably have a couple tens of thousands of dollars waiting.

Thank you. I have sent an e-mail to the bank asking about interest and dollar amount.

Linda, if you are owed interest it would be owed by the operator. You have to have had marketable title to be entitled to interest. 1.5% a month. Over 2 years interest on first months production which us usually the best. If the fault lies with the operator, if they had a good address, such as the address on the lease being current.

I just spoke to the bank and they are going to wait a couple of months to let a stable pattern of checks come in and then they are going back for the interest. We have only one set of minerals 15 acres that are not leased or producing 163-75-13 Bottineau SWNE E2SW W2SE SENW. I am still in shock from everything that I found out when we went home. Wish my Dad was alive to thank for taking care of the family. He was a brillant.
