Two days ago I put up a post in the Grady County General Discussion, having gotten some very helpful replies. Then one day after I see a post from Kenny DuBose saying “Closed.” What does this mean? I had wanted the discussion to continue. Thanks, Jim Phillips
On a routine basis, our moderators Close a Topic after it is deemed that the conversation has run it’s course (or discovered to violate any other site policy).
The fundamental reason why this is useful and necessary is that if Topics remain “open” for long periods, they inevitably lose their identity, and become a hodge podge soup of many unrelated things.
The solution,(should you think a Topic has been closed to soon), is to create a new Topic, which is titled accurately and start afresh.
