New to site, new to oil. Inherited 50% minerals on NORTH half Section 19, Block 14. South of Oklaunion 5 miles, adjacent Waggoner 2 sides.
Two 1970 producing wells on the SOUTH half (487-30163). Some plugged/dry wells around me.
Dry Fork Wichita wants to lease me, but they drilled 2017 slow well 2 sections away, to my NW. They are ok with 3/16, 3years. But how much BONUS should I get?

I have just learned that a local Vernon lawyer (sorry, don’t know name) has advised that leases in my area are getting $220 signing bonus. I will keep you posted on the amount i actually get. Karen Day
Karen, also try for 20% royalty…Just my opinion.(the norm in Texas seems to be 20%, 22.5% & 25%)

Hello Clint. This is Barney Boudreaux from Montgomery, Tx. I’ve been approached about permission to seismic my place in Wilbarger County. Should I ask for a mineral lease first? They offered no money, and no time frame.
