According to the WildFire Development Corp website, on July 8 2021 they (WildFire) agreed to acquire Hawkwood Energy. Hawkwood has lease positions in Burleson and Brazos counties with additional acreage in Leon, Madison and Robertson counties. Wildfire is headed up by former executive officers of WildHorse Resource Development Corp. BC
