Woodford Shale archives

From a letter I got in the mail last week;

Continental Resources, Inc. ("Continental") hereby proposes the drilling of the TBD 1-15H well in a unit comprised of all of Section 15, Township 1 North, 6 West Stephens County, Oklahoma. This will be a horizontal well drilled to a depth sufficient to test the Woodford Formation. This well will drilled from a surface location in the SW/4 of Section 15 to a target bottom hole location in the NW/4 of Section 15, which is expected to require drilling to an approximate depth of 17,000' Total Vertical Depth (TVD to 22,273 and includes a 5,000' lateral.

Kenneth, Great news!

You may want to move over to the Stephens forum and post it there. That is where most of the chatter is regarding any wells in Stephens. That township has been discussed there. Folks will be pleased. May be easier to follow the thread over there. Will be interesting to see what the pooling orders will bring as far as bonus amounts.

;-)

Martha, the Chapparal Energy Investor presentation for June to UBC is very interesting. Lots of good information regarding best 30 day IP rates. Thanks for posting!

Wondering what mineral rights are selling for near Holdenville, OK. Have 20 mineral acres.

Terri, Section Township and range is more helpful

Had to look it up at home. Twnshp 6 North, Range 9 East, Section 29.

Does that work?

Terri

Terri, Corterra has pooling and spacing hearings in 29-6N-9E currently which means you are about to get wells that would pay royalties. I would not sell right now. If you want to know what offers are, it might be better to post the question in the Hughes County part of the forum. Local folks tend to post there.

Hey everyone hope you all are doing well these days… Now I am co-owner of section 20-3N-4W, and Gregory D Camarillo is my cousin I’ve been semi active on this site but in the Garvin County group. What information can anyone give me that I can get updated on the current situation going on over there and any political issues or events that may be a risk or concerns I need to be aware of. Thank you for your time it is appreciated.
