Staghorn has filed for a horizontal well in 18. Location exception just approved on 11/26/18. Well to be drilled on the far east side of the section. Leaves plenty of room for future wells should they choose to drill them. It is very common to get offers right before wells are about to drill. They hope you don’t know about the first well.
The pooling order was issued Nov 7. Your name was on it. Did you get all the paperwork and did you respond in time?

If you did not respond, they automatically assigned you the lowest royalty. Did you get the paperwork? They have a check waiting for you…
I did get the paperwork. They wanted me to send a w-9. I won’t get a check until I send that?
My experience is that the sooner you send the W-9 the sooner you will get paid, until they get it they just hold the money. With Alta Mesa (and others) I emailed the W-9 to them which was faster.
