My wife and I bought 322 acres a few years ago. We hired an attourney to find out who owned the mineral rights. In the process we found out that they had never been severed and that we owned them. We have talked to a couple of landmen and they have told us that we are just outside where they are leasing. We would like to lease our rights before we are too old to enjoy the royalties. We are just north of Stoneham and there are other wells within two miles of us. The seismic company "thumped it" last fall. Can anyone help us get it leased and a possible well or two?
I find it interesting that Jason Haack seems to be in the leasing business and is giving advice about bonus rates and royalty rates that are extremely low. Mineral owners beware.
