XTO Energy's request to pool 640 acres on Section 19 Township 6 S Range 1 W had opposition from other companies with leases. According to RD Williams the companies now have to negotiate and come to an agreement. There is no time line for reaching an agreement or a decision on who can drill. Does anybody understand the process and shed a little light on the subject? I understand that there is a lot at stake for these companies but it is a little frustraiting for a small mineral rights owner.
