According to rumor, XTO plans up to 6 new wells in the Fayetteville play. Also news is that SEECO had planned to plug and abandon 50 wells and BHP Billiton had planned to P & A 27. Both companies have sold their interests. Flywheel has asked the commission to hold on that abandonment and Merit likewise asked the AOGC to stay the order to abandon. Interesting to see, with somewhat higher prices perhaps these wells can be made profitable.
