Does anyone have any information on all types of minerals in Zapata County in Texas? It is my understanding that historically, it is has not been an area with substantial oil/gas production (??). But, if there are other minerals there that could be worth something and potentially produce revenue, it would be interesting. So, just checking…

@TheStockster this is really a good question with the concern with the United States’ dependence on foreign rare earth minerals. I definitely restrict my leases to oil, gas and related products – not just in Zapata, but in every county where I own the minerals.
