Carter County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Ronald,

When Indian Hills drilling is finished, they should frac both wells at the same time. It must be getting close.

I would like to see XTO come up with a monthly newsletter of well new progress for Carter Co. Also include some general info about thier part in the industry. I saw that ConocoPhillips got there Export License.

There is a shortage of fracking equipment. XTO probably has to schedule well in advance to get the equipment. Buy Halliburton stock lolp

Daniel, we don’t have a working interest in Indian Hills so don’t get a daily drilling report. They should be getting close to bottom hole. Their goal on our well was 39 days and it was around 40+ days. I think you are correct about them fracking both wells while the equip is on location.

Good day all !

Ronald, Daniel I appreciate your updates on the Indian Hills since my father and I will be there to check it out in about 10 days…

Paul,

Would you mind meandering over to Section 30 3S 3E and see if the pad is still empty? The pad is on the South West corner of the section on Mt. Pleasent Rd just a little over a half mile East of Gene Autry Rd.

The Google Earth location is 34 15’ 39.41 N and 97 02’ 04.98 W.

TIA

Paul, they are finished with Indian Hills and the rig is moving to another location. All we need now is frac and production. I think XTO was waiting to finsh both wells and frac them at the same time. Here’s to good checks

The below Order has granted XTO to drill the 8 additional wells in section 32 03S 03E. You will recalll this had been protested by WIN, LLC.

http://imaging.occeweb.com/AP/Orders/OCC4374020.PDF

There will be three seperate pad for drilling. Section 32 03S 03E, Section 5 04S 03E, and Section 6 04S 03E. Maybe the rig moving from Indian Hills is headed to one of those pads.

Anyone know the status of the XTO well on sec 4 2E 4S & sec 9 2E 4 S Jim Gigoux Sacramento Thanks

Absolutely Ronald !

Daniel, I will do my best to find it and let you know !

Paul,

That’s great. Watch out for the storms.

Jim,

Both are awaiting fracking.

Paul Veal has an interest in 9 4S 2E and Ronald Staples has an interest in 4 4S 2E.

Paul is going back to OK to check things out this coming week.

Ronald,

How did you do with the storm? Are you going down to Ardmore over the weekend and check your new well:)

The storm was about 35 miles NE of us. We watched it on tv as it grew and moved from farmland to Moore. It was as large or larger than the May 13, 1999 storm which started a half mile west of my house but moved North and then east. Yes, i have an underground shelter Still waiting on frac. They are building a 12 pipeline from both wells north to tie in to another pipeline. XTO says their normal time from completing the drilling to frac is about 2-3 months due to a shortage of frac equipment available

I have been getting offers in 8,000 range. I think these and others send you a 30 day agreement and if they are unable to sell it to a third party you don’t hear from them. I had a guy call me to offer $500. i just laughed at him

This is right out of WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING.

I received an offer to purchase my mineral rights in Section 30 3S 3E from PETRO PARTNERS LIMITED out of Arlington, Tx.

There is a producing well in that section and an outstanding Increase Density request.

Before the well was drilled, maybe 3 years ago we where offered $3,300 per acre. Petro Partners is now offering about $1,100 per acre. I’ve heard some strange things about Texas, but this new math takes the cake.

I’ve been following activity in Section 30 3S 3E and have complited a good picture of what is happening.

There will be 8 or more wells in Sections

18 MELTON and ARDMORE

21 DENNIS

32 OWENSD

in 3S 2E sections

23 CANTELL and SAMS

24 PARKER (4 at present)

26 WALLS (4 or 5 at present)

35 MILLER (5 at present)

36 MCCARTHY (5 at present)

Today I noticed that XTO has requested an increase density for 8 more well, HERRIOT 2-34H to HERRIOT 9-34H in section 34 3S 3E. What is differnet from most wells in 3S 3E, is these wells are going to be drilled in an eastern direction, most of the other wells in this area are drilled going in a northernly direction.

My

mom lives on 5 acres that she also owns the mineral rights to. They were actually in my dads name who passed away a few years back. It is S:5, T:4S, R:3E. She has been receiving offers in my dads name to purchase the land. Is there activity in this area?

Marci It looks like there is a good well in 5 that started production in Aug 2010 .
