Got lease offer at the 300/20% and have just now been reading items in this group. have minerals in Sec 2 of Block 25 T & P Ry Survey and have no idea if this location has any action or if it is on the fringe.
Does anyone know if this Block 25 is getting any action? Thanks, Wes
I got an offer in Block 25 $600 at 25% and then 3 weeks later as we were ready to sign they backed out. Not sure what the deal was.
I don't know who it was, but you might try contacting, lincoln land and title out of new mexico, or firewheel or loredo?

I'm in Block 28 section 7 1 n. I signed with Devon but also got a great offer from Energen. In addition to the ones listed above, other names of companies I was told are or were leasing in various parts of Mitchell County are Nadel Gusman, Lincoln, Double Eagle, Quanah, Newkumet, Range Resources, and Linn.
My suggestion... RUN from Stevens and Tull...wasted a tremendous amount of my time.
Well I guess I have to second that one... Didn't even bother to call and tell me they were backing out.

I just received a $325/20% offer from L. W. Hunt for most of Block 28 in Section 25 and all of Section 24, and 243.60 acres of Block 27, Section 78. Is this a decent offer and does anyone have knowledge of L. W. Hunt Resources? Thank you for any information, Helen

Im sorry to say not really, you might check with Lincoln Land & Title (devon) out of NM, and Firewheel they have better offers,..Hunt I think is out of Dallas, like the Hunt Trucking, Hunt Oil, etc

Have any of you heard of, or had offers from, L. W. Hunt LLC (no employees) in Mansfield, Tx. or Black Pearl Petroleum LLC (no employees) founded less than a year ago by Dustin Raughton?

You might talk to Tom Reese or Ty Wood in Colorado City, they are also Oil and Gas attorneys, and have contacts, I know Ty writes a very good lease..

Aaron, could you tell me what the landscape is in block 27 and 28? Are there ranches, private homes, etc.
I have not been in Mitchell County since I was a child. I understand that most of the county is open with
only a few thousand population.
