Very interesting information of what Plymouth expects in future production in northern Garfield and southern Grant counties with their small number of rigs.

http://www.plymouthexploration.com/Plymouth_Overview_vF.pdf

I believe they sold some partial leases to Devon but am not aware of them selling all of their holdings.

Linda, thanks for the info. I saw that Plymouth was selling holdings in Garfield County as well, but was unaware they sold some to Devon. Its odd they would sell holdings here, because it seems that Plymouth along with Apache seem to be having the best luck within this region. Devon, on the other hand, seems to be having a harder time in Garfield and Logan Counties with their wells. Our lease is with Devon so I’m selfishly hoping that takes a 180 degree turn (who knows maybe this will be the catalyst that sparks a good run). Thanks again for the find and the excellent discovery that Devon is involved in the purchase.

Chad,

The main advantage I see that Devon has over Plymouth is Devon has the capability of putting many wells on a section in a matter of a few months while Plymouth is drilling only one well per section.Counting the yellow marked sections in the article Plymouth has leased around 100 sections so with only 2 rigs it is taking them a long time.Emailed Plymouth and they are adding 2 more rigs sometime this year.

Now I am starting to worry if some are already pulling out of Garfield County. Sounds good on Devon somewhat. Don’t know who is actually holding my minerals, they were leased to Brannon Land Services, LLC. I know 13.5 acres is not much, but need to make wise decisions on it. Section 27,21N,3W. Location connects to Hayward Lake, right south of Hayward OK. This location is barely south of Highway 64, in the very southeast corner of Garfield County. Any one with any new updates for this specific area.

Deborah,

I don’t see anyone pulling out of Garfield.Current oil prices is making it economical to drill horizontal wells just about everywhere.

I forgot to include Apache oil company in my earlier comment.

Yes Linda, I agree, Devon is rather large and Plymouth is a small independent. Perhaps they need capital for not only the new rigs, but the astronomical drilling costs associated with H-Drilling in the Mississippi Lime formation.

Deborah, We’re in the same boat with Brannon. My guess is that since we are quite close (roughly 5 miles), they leased everything they could in that area for Devon.

Brannon also leased for Longfellow, which has our lease at NE 35, 2W, 5W. No activity close to us yet…

Thanks Tim for the information. My assumption could have very well been a poor one. I based it on Deborah’s land and its proximity to ours…:).

Hi all: I have a question. My niece met a gentleman that works in the oil fields of ND, and he seems to think we should be getting $600.00 per month rent in addition to the land management company paying to lease our 2.857 acres in OK. The land is located at Township 20, NW4, Section 8, Range 6 of Garfield County. Anyone heard of this? Are we getting screwed because we are only getting 285.00 per person per lease (2 years - 4 people)?

Question for the group. My parents are worried it is taking too long to receive the first check on a new completion. Well was completed in Sept. 2012, first load Oct. 2012, division orders returned early May 2013. I have heard it can take 9 months but my folks are accustomed to the old 6 months as in their past well completions (in the eighties). What has the average time been currently? (Reasonable amount of time in oil company terms). I know they will use our money as long as they can. Any comments appreciated!

Our first royalty check from Plymouth came 5 months after well completion.
