Here is a unique photo of the Smith 1-18H

Lynden if you are ever checking google earth see if there is a new picture of 32-8N-6W Grady, the last image they had was 10-2011, a newer one might show the tanks etc, thanks Richard

Richard, you are still limited to the 10.12.2011 date.

Thank you very much Lynden for the info. I’m having computer issues right now. I have Google Earth on my computer but it’s not working now for some reason? Maybe I need to download it again.

As far as knowing where the land is? I’ve never seen it - or, at least don’t remember seeing it…as I had to have been younger than 5-6 years old because I’m assuming my grandpa’s family at one time (and maybe they still do) owned the land. The mineral rights were divided up at the time of his death.

All I know is that my area is in Section 9, south of Elmore City, on the west side of the highway going south out of that town.

I’ll let you know how my Thursday night computer project goes. LOL

I have a really stupid question. How do I enter in the land description of where my mineral rights are located on Google Earth to see a picture? Can one of you walk me through this?

I betting this one

Charles, as they saying goes blah blah blah. You could just zoom in to the general location and follow a highway or something until you recognize your land. That is what I did at first. just recently I found a web site called ‘earth point townships’ that will load onto Google Earth and it has townships etc. that overlay the satellite view. The more you zoom in the more detail it will give you concerning quarter sections.

My procedure is to have Google earth open on my computer and then open the 'earth point townships web site. There is a button to click (I think a light blue square) that says something like “try now”. Go back to Google Earth and if you are zoomed in enough you will see purple lines designating sections etc. In the center of each square will be a purple dot that will identify it when you move your cursor over it. Click on the dot and it will give a pop up of more info.

You will be able to use the overlay for 24 hours and then it will be gone but you can go thru the whole process the next day. After a while earth point will have a pop up asking for a subscription but you can just close that box. Let us know how it goes for you.

Any of you know a Steven L. Perry?

I have an interest in 30 3n4w,there is a well, Lyle, already producing. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has posted Location Exception two times lately, don’t really know what that means. Hope some of you can tell me.

Good. Do you have a status report?

Brenda I can help you with some info on Smith 1-18H ?

Jerry, some of the guys have just discussed the Lyle and the location exception over on the Stephen’s Co. forum. I can’t repeat what they said because of lack of memory but if you click over on that one you can read what they said.

Just wanted to give a shout-out of sincere gratitude and appreciation to Rick Howell for taking the time to help me. Truly appreciated!

I know this is the Garvin County page but I just came across some information that I own the mineral rights to land in Murray County, Oklahoma. I don’t see a Murray County group. Do any of you know about anything going on in that area?

This might help http://okcountyrecords.com/results.php?page=1

Has anyone heard anything regarding the well in Sec. 19 2N 3N. This is the well just east of the Stephens Garvin county lines on highway 29.
