Will do, Ron. Thanks.

Ron, Mine might be like that too, I was told I should have it by then.

Ron…I’ll just take your word for it!!@#$%%^&&&&>??? until I get my law degree! lol

Michael I think my interest checks have come as a separate check for interest only. Linda

I was told by a landman that Continental made a deal for Sheridan’s interest in 4n5w & 4n4w except existing well bores. There could be more but those were the two that came up

Just received letter pertaining to CAUSE CD NO. 201205757-T, ORDER NO.

603313, granting Newfield 640 acre drilling and spacing in Sec 28 3N 4W

as of 18 October 2012. Would those with knowledge in these matters tell

me what to expect next ? Ron Barnes was Attorney for Applicant Newfield and Robert Miller appeared for Marathon Oil Company whatever that means. Was there or is there a conflict between Newfield & Marathon?

Richard, Next is Location Exception which has already been recommended by OCC. Pooling is on the OCC docket for 10-29-12. Once all that goes through then they can get a drilling permit. Don’t expect drilling for several months. I believe thats the one we were speculating about Newfield maybe getting section 33 and making a multi-unit well.

That would be a sweet deal for you guys if they drill both sections at the same time!

Richard They have some nice wells around you. I am in 21, south of you, waiting on Continental to pool it.

Richard…yes, I believe that Marathon and Newfield were both wanting to drill on 33 3n,4w and 28 but it looks like Newfield won out on 28 anyway. Haven’t heard about 33 yet, have you? So it looks like they will be drilling on 28 before long. Congratulations to you, Jason and Deanne and everyone in that!

To my knowledge,I and all my relatives and siblings leased to Energy Lease LLC back in Jan. of 2011 for Newfield, Ron. Hutch, 28&33 3N4W were the two sec. mentioned that would be a multi-unit well. Possibly. No, Linda, I don 't know the status of Sec 33 3N 4W. Hoping someone else does.

Richard…Hutch was just making a guess about what they might do when it comes to making that a multi-unit with the two sections simply because that seems to be what the oil companies are starting to do now but he said it was only a guess.

All 5. It looks like they are only going using 1/2 of section 21.

Here is a link to the spacing app

Ron, when they drilled the first Branch well it was drilled to Sec. 16 from 21(Stephens Co.) but they didn’t perforate any in 21. Now they are drilling the Casados from 21 and going south to 28 as a multi-unit but taking more from 28. When they do the other Branch Wells they are going north under the road again to Sec. 16 and this time Sec. 21 will get some of the perforation and Sec. 16 will get more percentage but I don’t remember the percentages.

Ron, when you told Richard that you were right south of him in 21 didn’t you mean north of him? I believe his 33 is south of his 28 and south of 33 would be Stephen’s Co. 4 where they have the Mashburn. Just south of that is Sec. 9 in Stephens where they have The Wright (the best well that Newfield has drilled in the S. Cana yet) and just south of that is our Branch well on 16 and then there is the great Poteet well just west of us drilled by Continental to name a few, so yes, there are great well all around ya’ll.

Richard have you leased ?

Here are my clues: 1. Newfield has control of 28 and OCC apps are coming through. 2. Marathon tried to get OCC approval for 33 which Newfield protested. 3. Marathon’s case was dismissed 4. Newfield has been doing cross-units and multi-units all over S.Cana.

Now with the BranchXLs they are also doing multi-unit, multi-well units.

Percentages on the Branch next 5 wells on Sec. 16 is to be 66 percent and on 21 is to be 34 percent. ( I cheated I looked at the link that Rick sent) lol Hutch or someone had a thought that there may be something in part of 21 that keeps them from going all the way through the section since they have drilled both north and south from it and now back north without going clear through sec. 21. I hadn’t thought of that but it does make sense that it might be so. Up until now I thought it was going to always be a bridesmaid and never a bride. But if they get a chunk of all of these next ones and from going to Section 28 too that’s a pretty well paid bridesmaid, huh?

Yes Linda you are right . Thank you. I am very glad to hear your good news.

Michael I missed the part about Branch being multi-unit I guess . Which sections.

Ron,
The first Branch 1H-16 is not.
The Next 5 are a multi section with 21. Branch 2H through 6H No permits yet.
Newfield Also has:
Tina 1H-26X for 26/35 3N-4W Permited
Casados 1H-21X in 21/28 2N-4W Spudded
Campbell 1H-36X 1-2N-4W and 36-3N-4W Permited
